The cute meerkats are particularly popular with all zoo visitors. Children and parents often spend hours in the enclosure of sociable mammals and watch their hustle and bustle. While one of the meerkats has made itself comfortable in front of the entrance to the cave building, another is carefully watching what is going on in the air. Standing on its hind legs and stretching its head high, it watches for danger from above. If an enemy approaches, the scout warns the group with a loud warning signal and everyone disappears in the blink of an eye. The play set consists of four meerkats and a mound construction and can be ideally combined with other zoo items.
