To cheer up the paralyzed Clara, Heidi is brought by her aunt Dete to the Sesemann family's home in Frankfurt am Main. The two girls make friends in a short time and Heidi gets to know life in the big city. The strict housekeeper Miss Rottenmeier watches over Clara's upbringing with great dedication, after all, Clara is supposed to become a distinguished lady. Thanks to Heidi's friendship, Clara will soon be better and even learns to walk again. The play set consists of Clara with a wheelchair, Miss Rottenmeier, Clara's father Mr. Sesemann, the kitten socks and starlets and other extras.
